Indians Railways having introduced in 1853 traversing in length and breadth spread over 16 zones and covering 6,909 stations over a total route length of more than 63327 kilometers and owning over 200,000 (freight) wagons, 50,000 coaches and 8,000 locomotives is one of the busiest and the longest rail networks in world.
